St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary School – Wraparound
We are delighted to be able to launch our wraparound childcare facility for any children attending our school aged 3 and 4. This will enable children to attend our nursery from 08:50am until 3:15pm.
St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary School is CSSIW registered and, as a registered childcare provider, we are able to participate in the government funded childcare scheme. Children whose parents meet the eligibility criteria will therefore be able to access our nursery facility from 08:50am until 3:15pm free of charge.
We also accept childcare vouchers.
For parents not eligible for the free childcare scheme there is a daily fee of £12.
Government Funded Childcare
Government funded childcare is available from the term following the child’s 3rd birthday and will continue until the child starts reception class the September after their fourth birthday.
All parents in the household must work the equivalent of at least 16 hours per week at national minimum wage or national living wage, therefore earning at least £117.00 per week.

Booking form
To book your child into Wraparound please complete the booking form and email or hand in to the school office no later than the Wednesday before the week of attendance.
Parents of children staying for Wraparound should provide them with a packed lunch.
The Wraparound service is managed on a first come first served basis. We are currently registered to accept 30 children in the Wraparound facility and early booking to avoid disappointment is recommended.
