Admissions

Admission to St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary School

At St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary your child/ren will be welcomed into a nurturing, supportive and successful school with high academic standards where children are taught a broad and balanced curriculum by highly skilled staff.

Our Catholic faith leads us to teach children to follow the example of Jesus, enabling everyone to shine and be proud.  Non-Catholic children are always welcome, subject to the school’s admissions policy, and where parents show a commitment to the school’s principles and values.

St Joseph’s is a place of acceptance and respect for the beliefs of others and pride in what others do well.  We teach our children to have pride in themselves and to work harmoniously with others.

We are confident that your child/ren will thrive educationally, emotionally and spiritually whilst attending St. Joseph’s Cathedral Primary.

Children can be enrolled at the school following their third birthday where they will be welcomed into our Nursery Class.  From here they progress through the school to Year 6 before moving on to secondary school at the age of 11.

If you are a prospective parent and would like to visit the school, please contact the school office where we would be happy to give you the opportunity to see the school at work.
